FAQ’s
Q)What sets you apart form other Photographers?
A)Nothing excites me more than capturing your precious moments on film! I love to photograph anything, and nothing is out of the question! I use a photojournalistic approach, meaning I try to capture you as you are. I can give you some coaching and tips to make you more relaxed, but I want the pictures to reflect your style, not mine. That’s what makes your memories YOURS!
Q) When should I book my session?
A) When you book your session depends on your needs. For Baby bump pictures I like to do it 6-8 weeks before your due date, that way you are showing, but still comfortable and able to move around. Newborns work best with in the first 14 days of life, so we can capture the tiny cuteness that only newborns have and quickly grow out of. If you are booking a family session, or pet session, schedule it for a time when everyone will be well rested, not during a normal nap time! Seniors can be booked between the summer leading in to your senior year to one month before graduation. You should check with your school about yearbook deadlines when booking so we dont miss that! I will try to work with YOUR scedule, so dont worry if you are alittle outside of these guidelines.
Q) Where are you located?
A) I am located in Boise, Idaho, but I am willing to travel! I am an on location photographer, and I have a small studio in the back of my home. Don’t know where to get your shots taken? Don’t worry, I can suggest several spots around town. We can do both indoor and out, and we will work together to get the look YOU want.
Q) What do I wear?
A) Wear clothes that you feel comfortable and confident in. If you are doing a Family shoot, being matchy-matchy is not necessary, just coordinate general colors, but keep the style true to the individuals personality. You are more than willing to bring more than one outfit and I will help you pick what will look best in each setting. If you are a senior, I want your clothing to reflect your personality! It is all about you. Bring lots of accessories, like scarves, hats, or awesome jewelry! If you have any questions or need suggestions, just ask!!
Q) Why do you only offer some of the pictures in High Resolution CD’S?
A) I am a firm believer that the images captured are yours! They are of you and tell the story of your life. That is why I try to give you as many images as possible for you to keep. Each of my packages comes with SOME high resolution images (able to be printed at all sizes), or ALL of the images in Low Resolution, which is perfect for email, facebook, myspace, or printing at small sizes (4×6 or smaller). I do not give you ALL the images at High resolution, because that is at cost to me. I try to give you as much as I can, and still meet the needs of my family, and KEEP PRICES LOW FOR YOU. ALL of your images will be available on your online password protected (if desired) viewing gallery, and available for purchase on high quality, professional photo paper. In addition, images not included in your package will be available for purchase on the High Resolution CD al la carte. Ask for more details.
