I look forward to working with all of you!  ;)

I love Montana!  I do!  It is my home.  I recently got to go to Montana to visit for almost 2 weeks!  It was great, and probably the longest I have been there since I left to go to college.  I was a working girl, so I never got to go home for the long summer breaks.  What do I love about Montana you ask?  Well, I love the people!  I love that the largest town is still relatively small (almost half the size of Boise) and that everyone, for the most part, is friendly.  I love that I can drive just about anywhere and see cows grazing and wheat growing on the side of the road.  I love that I know the roads like the back of my hand, and even the names of the smallest towns are written into my memory!  I Love the openness and beauty of it all.  From the majestic Rocky mountains, to the cool of the lake.  From the open fields to the mighty River beds.  From Highway 2 to Interstate 90…it is my home!  Here are a few photos I took while taking my tour of the western part of the state, and if you have never had the pleasure of driving trough Montana, do it!!!  what are you waiting for?!?  Its great!

Oh…its haying season, by the way!  :)  The Next photo I took while I was driving…I like to call it my safe version of drive by shootings!  ;)  However, I dont recommend anyone trying it…both hands on the wheel please!  :)

I did not bring a tripod with me, but thought I would still try to take a photo of the full moon…it is a little blurry, but  I think it looks like a painting!  :)

Wildflowers make me happy!

You cant go to Big sky country and not take a picture of the sky!  :)

I got to reconnect and see a lot of great people: family, friends, and friends that are like family!! I love you all!!! I got to get some much needed fresh air and I got to clear my head.  I also dreamed up some pretty creative things to try with my photography!  ;)   (A 12 hour drive there, and a 12 hour drive back gives you a lot of thinking time…one reason why I secretly want to be a truck driver!)  When I get old, I want to have a porch swing over looking a golden field of wheat with the rockies in the background, and family all around!!!  Thank God Im a country girl!  Ahhhh…life is good!  ;)

I love my job!

May 10, 2010

I love creating memories and getting to play with fun props!  I also love getting to meet  the people I work with and having them trust me to be creative!  :)  The MacKonkeys are doing the “Growing Bump” series that include 7 mini sessions and one hour session recording the growth of your growing belly from month to month!  There are a million sights that tell you the size of your baby according to friut, We decided to use the fruit in the pictures to represent the babies size.

This is so much fun!  I LOVE MY JOB!!!!!

Happy Mothers day!

May 9, 2010

This is the reason I Love being a mom:

Also I have a wonderful mom and a great mother in law, but I dont have any recent photos of them, because they live in different states!  :(  LOVE YOU BOTH!!!

To all you moms out there:

A Mother’s Love

There is no love, like a mother’s love,
no stronger bond on earth…
like the precious bond that comes from God,
to a mother, when she gives birth.

A mother’s love is forever strong,
never changing for all time…
and when her children need her most,
a mother’s love will shine.

God bless these special mothers,
God bless them every one…
for all the tears and heartache,
and for the special work they’ve done.

When her days on earth are over,
a mother’s love lives on…
through many generations,
with God’s blessings on each one.

Be thankful for our mothers,
for they love with a higher love…
from the power God has given,
and the strength from up above.

I am in my hometown in Montana, visiting my family and my brother that just got home from Iraq!  My sister asked if I could take some pictures of her friends for her to decorate her dorm room with.   Last year she had a lot of empty picture frames, but after this adventure, I don’t think she will have that problem.  My sister is a little crazy, and like me, would never turn down a dare, so I knew if anyone would be up for a trash the dress session, she would.  Normally these sessions are done with brides after the wedding day, but because none of these girls are married we did it with formals, all purchased at Goodwill for less than $15!

Meet Sharla, my sister…hang on guys she is single and easily the nicest, genuine Christian girl you will meet.  Not to mention, you will get an abb workout from all the  laughing if you are around her!mud7

Meet Kirsten, my neighbor that I have known almost all her life, and I must say…WOW!  She has grown up in to a beautiful person!mud13

And Tynagh, who loves animals and can convince anyone she knows to give her a piggyback ride.mud6

Together these girls are three peas in a pod, and ready for anything!mud2

We also had a young man named Sterling join us, and we are glad he did.  We had told him what we were going to do and he said, “I want to come!”  We thought he was joking, but he showed up, and I’m pretty sure he thought we were crazy!  :) mud3

Now,  I live by the river, and almost always put on a long sleeve shirt around dusk because of mosquitoes.  I’m not sure why we did not think of it, but as a facebook update put it this morning “229 mosquito bites later I finally found something I’m allergic to…”  and that 229 is NO exaggeration!  I have a mosquito bite in between my toes, and everywhere else!  It was crazy, in fact if you look closely, you can see some mosquitoes on the girls!  They were such troopers, and when you get pictures like these it just might be worth it!mud12

I don’t know about you guys, but I think there are some possible modeling careers in the works for these girls…mud4
