This year I will be completing one of my goals!  I will be running a marathon.  In order to do this I knew I needed an awesome support group.  One of my past brides ran a marathon last year, and she did it with Team in Training.  So that is what I am going to do.  It is a great group, and very supportive of one another.  I can not wait to feed off of the positive energy these people have!  :)  One things the team in training groups do, that I think is awesome is raise money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.  I have to raise $2900.00 to run in the San diego marathon June 5th!  If you would like to help me reach my fundraising goal you can donate to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society here.  Im excited to go on this adventure!  I can not wait to accomplish my goal of running a marathon,and help save some lives while I am at it.

I am not a complete newbie to running, I actually really like it!  I just never had the guts to try a full marathon!  This summer I ran a 10k with some Team in Training Girls and one of my awesome brides Jayme!  This is our before photo:

This is our After…we might have found some mud to run through!!  :)  It was a blast!  26.2 here I come!  :)

My mom loves roses, especially yellow ones.  So, this is for all the people named Renette out there. Who knows, there might be more than 2, and I hope there are, cuz both of the ones I know are pretty awesome!

We had gone to Zoo Boise together before, in college with a group of people.  This was our first time back.  It had been about 5 years.  I liked it.  

Zoo’s hold a special place in my heart.  when I was in junior high and high school I volunteered at Zoo Montana.  I got to work up close and personal with the animals, and I loved it!!!  I also lead tours and worked in the gift shop occasionally.  It was allot of fun!  At Zoo Montana we had a Tiger named TJ.  I loved TJ.  He was very playful and fun to watch.  This snow leopard reminded me of him. He was trying to get the birds of the top of his cage, and was jumping off the walls to do it!  ;)   My son loved it!

The zoo had just gotten a new giraffe.  I had never seen a giraffe up close before and was in aw over how big they were!  

Elijah liked the zoo, but he wanted to know why he could not Pet everything.  We then found a playground and he LOVED that!

We also saw some ducks.  I love ducks!  This little guy was doing some fishing.

Overall it was a great day!  It was fun to see Elijah love the zoo, but my favorite thing I saw the whole day is this:Seth and elijah loving each other!  ;)

I love this time of year!  I love the crispness in the air and the colors all around.  I love the change from summer to winter, and I love anxiously awaiting the first snow!  :)  I hope you get to get outside and enjoy the beauty of fall around you.
