The Tucker Family | Boise Family Photographer

Meet the Tucker Family. I met this family through Cole Valley Christian School. My son goes to preschool there and I had donated a gift certificate to the school auction. The winner of the Certificate was the Tucker family.

I loved meeting this family. They Were awesome. The boys were very polite. I hope my son is someday like them. They were constantly offering to help me carry my gear and were very respectful.

Not only were the boys awesome, but the family had a great relationship with each other. I could really tell that mom and dad were still in love and the boys really liked and respected their parents.

The Tuckers also brought a aunt to help with the session so I made sure to get some photos of her too. She was really cool and I found out that she was a missionary for a while! :)

And we had to do a sister shot too! :)

These guys really know how to have fun with each other. I love a family that can play together and really enjoy each other.

Dandelions

Its that timeof year. The time of year where people are outside mowing their lawns and planning picnics. The time of year were I get anxious to get in the river. The time of year where “lilacs are in bloom and thunder is going boom.” (that is for you Dad) And the time of year where dandelions are popping up everywhere. While some try to fight them, others including my son (and my neighbor) fully embrace them. The other day when I went to pick eman up from school he had some dandelions in his cubby and was so proud that he picked them for me. :)

My mom is a HUGE Karen Kingsbury fan, and by huge I mean GINORMOUS! :) I would say if she is not the #1 fan, she is definantly in the top 10. (I like Karen too, but I am not near the fan my mom is. If you are looking for some good fiction books to read I would defiantly check her out.) Recently Karen Kingsbury had made her book “Like Dandelion Dust” in to a movie. My Mom, being the great fan she is, loved the movie and promotes it alot to others. When I saw these dandelions going to seed it made me think of my mom and “Like Dandelion Dust.” I decided to take a photo for her. However, I was not alone and soon the dandelion was picked and blown my her favorite 4 year old grandson! :)

We are starting a Baby Bump series for Audri. These are great because you can watch your stomach grow! It makes the anticipation for the little one so much fun! This is Audri’s second time booking a baby bump series, she LOVES them! ;)

This is the first session of the series and she is at 14 weeks. Last baby bump session we did fruit to represent the size of the baby. This time around we are doing all things cars/tools related. It should be FUN! :) At 14 weeks the baby is about the size of this rc tire.

Are you ready for some cake!?! Nova was! You may remember Nova from her newborn photos. In fact, she wore this same tutu when she was a newborn. Now she is back and she is ONE! What better way to celebrate than with cake?

One great ting about my new studio, is that it is in my house, so after the cake smash, little nova and her mom headed to the bathtub just a few steps away. :)

Can you belive January is over and February is here. Also, can you believe it is February. I don’t know about where you all are, but if you were to look outside here in Boise Idaho you would think it was April.

Today we did a quick Valentine shoot, I don’t want to spoil the surprise of the girls valentine cards, so I will only post this teaser…

I love this little guy! :) I took baby Carson’s newborn photos. I was very excited his mom wanted to do more photos! I have the best job as a Boise family photographer, because I get to see cuties like Carson grow up! :)

Because it is cold outside, I invited them over to our NEW HOUSE! (thats right, Seth and I are homeowners now, but more on that at a later date) One thing I love about the house is that I have my own studio / viewing room! I think Little Carson approves! :)

I love closeups of little guys.

Of course we did some awesome family photos as well! :)

I love how he is looking up at his parents in the next one.

Extended Family Photos – boise family photographer

I LOVE this family! They had me laughing the whole time! I was asked to do an extended family photo. As a Boise family photographer, I typically take photos of families that consist of a mom and a dad and maybe 2-3 children. I was so excited to take these photos! Mom and Dad, with their grown children and spouses. At first I was alittle nervous. I dont LOVE being bossy, but with this may people you have too…But I quickly learned this family was ready to do what I asked and quick to help in anyway needed! :) I Think this photo will look great on the top of a fireplace mantel! :)

This is the real live Brady bunch. All the boys are the son’s of the dad, and all the girls are the daughters of the mom. Recently Mom and Dad got married and now they are all one big happy family!!!

And of corse Idid some breakdowns of the family too.

Im really happy to be working with this family again soon for a wedding! One of the daughters is going to be a BEAUTIFUL bride! ;)

Thanks for letting me take your photos and for being an awesome family that really knows how to have a little fun! :) Cant wait to work with you all agian! :)

Liz Graduates BSU! – Boise Graduation Photographer

I love my job as a Boise photographer. I love it for many reasons, but two of them are: 1. I LOVE forming friendships with my clients and becoming a part of their lives, and 2. I love capturing emotion and creating memories for others.

This session has both.

You may remember Liz and Anthony from their engagements, or their wedding photos. Well they are back, and this time Liz is graduating college! She has worked a long time for this, and has finally done it…And not only did she graduate, but she landed an awesome job!!! :) GO LIZ!!!!!

Here are a few glimpses into that special day.

Liz did not get a class ring when she graduated high shcool, instead she got a special ring from her mom and was told when she graduated college she would get the other half! How cool is that! :) Liz recently suffered the loss of her Grandpa, a very special man to the whole family. During graduation she carried one of his hankies with her. I love this family.
