WHAT’S PBJM ALL ABOUT?

Finding the right wedding or family photographer is no easy feat. It is a very personal choice. Each photographer has their own style and skill level that makes them uniquely them. When choosing a photographer it is important that you know what to expect. After all, you have to look at the photos for ever, and if you are paying for them you probably want them to be ones you would proudly display on your walls and pass down to generations to come. So, I encourage you to look around my blog and get to know me and my art a little! Cost might be a deciding factor, but dont let it be the only thing you base your choice on. If you like what you see on my blog, feel free to contact me. If you dont like it no hard feelings, I would be happy to point you toward someone who may fit your style! And dont be afraid to get to know me, or whom ever you chose to do your photography!

I am a wife and mother. I started Photography by Joncee May to be able to spent more time with my family, and be a hands on parent. I have a two tear old boy and a three year old lab border collie mix! Both are my best friends and I love spending my day with them. I also have a very talented husband, who can play guitar, and hear virtually any key change. He also has a great eye for photography, and will occasionally join me as a second shooter. I am a simple person, I dont wear makeup, I love to cook and make delicious food. I am a vegetarian. I love to read and hope to pass that down to my son. My whole family loves the outdoors and longs for the day we can afford to build a cabin in the woods to live in and work the land.

I love people. I love capturing the excitement of life on film. I love knowing that the little bit of emotion I happened to see, will be cherished and passed down for generations. I have both darkroom and digital experience. Though I love the ease of digital, I love even more holding the fresh print in my hand, knowing that it will not be lost on a hard-drive somewhere, but displayed. I inherited my love for photography from two people. my mother and my granddad. My granddad is no longer with us, but he was a great man and my hero.

I hope as you chose your photographer, you find someone that can capture you as you are! BEAUTIFUL!!!
