What are you waiting for…CONTACT ME AND GET YOUR PICTURES TAKEN!

Ok so I am a little behind on this one.  I figured I had some pictures of this little guy on my blog from the shower already so I would wait on the newborn blog.

This little guy sure is cute, and has captured the hearts of many!

Because I am so behind on showing you the pictures, and I have already released the online gallery to the parents, and they have already placed an order form me, I thought I would do something different.   Usually on the Blog I post my favorite pictures form the shoot, and it is as a preview, the clients have not seen any of the pictures yet.  It never ceases to amaze me that the photos that I think are the greatest are often times NOT the ones the clients pick have printed and hanging in their house.

So today I am going to show you, what Jessie and Jessica picked to order, and not my pick of what I perceive to be the best!  :)

Its funny really, because none of these are the noes I chose as my Favorites!  I like to see how everyone has different taste and perceptions of art.  I am just glad and grateful that my art can bring joy to others!

Hello!

Well, I love photographing everyones special moments, as you know, capturing a second of time for you to reflect on forever.  It is the greatest, and I am thankful that I can do it as a career!  One thing you may not know about me is that I did not have a professional wedding photographer at my own wedding.  I know! SHOCKING huh?  So after editing and editing photos of OTHER peoples weddings I decided to see what I could do with the 100’s of photos family and friends took of my wedding.  They are actually beautiful and captured the moments quite well!  Seth and I got married in a secluded campground in Idaho City, and we wore our bathing suits and jumped in the river!  it was great!!!  I LOVED it!  I have ordered an album of my wedding, and love it so much I decided to make these albums available to all of you, for your weddings.  If you want pricing info let me know!  :)

Here is what the albums look like:

On a different note:  I have entered a contest similar to the biggest loser for photographers HERE.  They will be updating how we are doing every tuesday so be sure to check their blog out and cheer me on!  :)

This was a fun day!  We started the day off doing hair and makeup with the ladies, though it did not take much work to make this bride beautiful.  Suzanne had gotten her hair done at a solon, but added some touchup curls right before leaving the house.  Then we headed off to meet Drew on the greenbelt.

This Bride and Groom opted for a first look, something I like to recommend to brides and grooms.  They got to have some private time together and enjoy each other, while I snapped away, capturing their love for one another.  We also got some great individual shoots of each of them.   After the greenbelt photo shoot, we were off to the wedding!  However not all of us rode in the car we anticipated! :)

Suzanne and Drew know how to have a good time!  Their wedding was beautiful, and they could not have asked for better weather.  Their families  made all the guest including me feel welcome, and they created a very warm environment!

Enjoy your preview.  I will have your online gallery up soon!

Thanks for a great wedding and being easy subjects to photograph :)

This baby shower was great! you may recognize the parents form their maternity session. The Baby has arrived, so this shower was a little unique. It was hosted by 3 awesome ladies, who new how to decorate and make delicious deserts and drinks! From dipper cakes, to giant mochas, they thought of it all. It was very well put together, and fun.  Even the games were entertaining!  :)

Because the baby was already born, the hosts decided to set some time aside for everyone to get their photo taken with the little one.   I thought this was a great idea.  Everyone gave the baby lots of love, and he slept through it all!!!  I hope he is that good when I go to take his newborn photos later this week!  ;)

I did not get to hold the baby, because I have been sick, but I am feeling a little better now and am starting to get caught back up on all my work!  As a side note, if you notice, the baby has a red eye, I did not give him pink eye!  He was born with a popped blood vessel in his eye, as for all my other friends I don’t think I can say the same.   If I or someone in my family has made you sick, Im sorry!  We did not know we were so contagious!

Enjoy the photos!
